Try to find all 22 Latin words that are hidden in the above 
graphics, especially the small ones, and translate them! 
Words consisting of just one letter don't count. Different 
cases do count. The words are written from left to right 
and from top to bottom.

Tips: How to enlarge your vocabulary without
learning anything new

There are several rules to the transformation of e. g. adjectives
to nouns. In order to learn to recognize these, look at the following pairs:

magnus: big --- magnitudo, -inis: size
multus: much --- multitudo, -inis: amount, multitude
crudelis: cruel --- crudelitas -atis: cruelty
brevis: short --- brevitas, -atis: shortness, brevity
miser: unfortunate --- miseria, -ae: misfortune
gratus: grateful --- gratia, -ae: gratitude
innocens: innocent --- innocentia, -ae: innocence
liber: free --- liberare: to make free
vigil, -is: guard --- vigilare: to guard
terrere: to frighten --- terror, -oris: fear
clamare: to shout --- clamor, -oris: shout
imperare: to command --- imperator, -oris: commander --- imperium, -i: order, kingdom
gaudere: to be happy --- gaudium, -i: happiness, joy
