I will probably never need to use it actively, but knowing enough to understand some moderate form half way between joual and le francais du Radio Canada would be pretty good. I would like to see some textbooks of Québécois, Scots, Yorkshireese and Bavaro-Austrian, in each case based on the related widely known language (FR, EN, GE). Pretty cool.
